The Beach

"The Beach."  a Work in Progress.  2010.  I've been working on this one for many months now.  I like to not rush these paintings, but rather to let the ideas come at their own pace, which is why I work on many things at once.  This painting is about 6 feet tall.  I must put it on hiatus for a while, as I need to put up drywall in my new workspace to hang it.

Romance Fantasy Music Video In Progress

I am currently working on a music video of the song "Blackheart" by Romance Fantasy. It will be animated on bowling pins!(as well as cg and hand drawn stew) In my mind, it is my trippiest animation yet. Also here are some abstract "Fantastic Planet" inspired landscapes I will use.

Jigsaw Kiss Painting

this painting is based on part of the music video animation I'm working on. I constructed this one in a different way than usual. Since I drew the frames over and over so many times in the animation, the image stayed fresh in my mind. Rather than painting the hidden faces of myself and Karen, then the objects that conceal the faces,I painted the objects, such as the elephant and alligator, first. After doing all of the individual pieces, our faces were there already.
