I post these together because they are inextricably linked for me. The process in which they were created was very similar, and unlike any other pieces I have done. Both of them are sort of unfinished in a sense, but I like them that way.
"Bird Dream," believe it or not, is the only painting I've done that is actually based on a dream that I actually had. I rarely remember my dreams, but when I do, they are usually terrifying. This one in particular involves me bing eaten by vicious birds while treading water in the ocean. (near a bunch of cliffs)
