"Pollock on Pop" / "Daxi Driver: le Nard is Peter Boy" I was always annoyed in art history when Pop art is described as a rejection of abstract expressionism. To me, pop art is all things shallow, greedy, materialistic, values I abhor. Whereas abstract expressionism is about sincerity, spontaneity, and creativity. Creativity and expression win every time for me.
